PERSEUS Showcases Its SDV Foundation Technologies at Automotive World 2026
September 15, 2026

PERSEUS, a company specializing in foundational system software for SDVs, participated in Automotive World 2026, held from September 9 to 11 at Makuhari Messe in Japan, where it showcased technologies and solutions supporting the transition to software-defined vehicles.

Throughout the three-day exhibition, the PERSEUS booth welcomed key stakeholders from Japan’s automotive industry and served as a venue for a wide range of discussions on SDV development and real-world implementation.

PERSEUS presented a variety of technologies and demonstrations at its booth. Among them, the “Vehicle E/E Architecture Transformation” demo attracted particular interest by illustrating how conventional distributed ECU architectures can evolve into SDV architectures centered on a Central Computer and Zonal Controllers.

The NVIDIA Thor–based hypervisor demo was another highlight. Powered by the PEGASUS hypervisor, the demo ran five virtual machines simultaneously on a single NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor SoC, demonstrating how multiple workloads can be securely isolated and reliably operated.

On the second day of the exhibition, PERSEUS CEO Dr. Sang-bum Suh delivered a presentation titled “Beyond ECU Consolidation: Building a Scalable SDV Architecture Through HW–SW Decoupling.” Questions and discussions continued after the session, and many attendees subsequently visited the PERSEUS booth to explore the related technologies and solutions in greater depth.

Through its participation in Automotive World 2026, PERSEUS confirmed the strong interest in SDVs and foundational system software within Japan’s automotive industry. The company plans to continue the conversations initiated at the event while expanding opportunities for new customer relationships and technology collaboration in the Japanese market.

PERSEUS sincerely thanks everyone who visited its booth and attended the presentation.
